Vera is a London-based performer and the artistic director of saltpeter. She grew up in Malaysia till the age of seventeen before spending two years in a charming village school in Staffordshire.

At The Queen's College, Oxford, Vera read Human Sciences before graduating with a degree Archaeology and Anthropology. She then trained as an actress at The Poor School.

Vera studies with Philippe Gaulier whenever she can and is greatly influenced by Adrian Gillott, Krystian Godlewski (The Bones Theatre) and Andrew Morrish.
